I have started working with Barsan Global since November 2023 in Istanbul Head Quarters and I have transferred to the Korea office as of December 2024. Whether by embracing new challenges, learning new skills, or working alongside my colleagues to help the company continue achieving new milestones, I eagerly look forward to further growth and progress in the years ahead. I joined Barsan Global Logistics nearly three years ago at the İzmir office and I am currently working as a Business Development Specialist at the Rotterdam office. The opportunity to focus on areas I am passionate about and gain the experiences I aimed for in the industry has made my career journey at Barsan incredibly valuable to me. Through the mentor-mentee relationships I have built with my experienced colleagues, I have grown both personally and professionally. I started to work at the Barsan Izmir branch in 2020 as an USA Import Operations Assistant Specialist. Then I changed position as an Export Operations Specialist and followed by 1.5 years as a Sales Specialist. I promoted to Luxembourg Directorate as a Branch Manager which is the next step in my career. As someone who started their professional career in a different sector, I am truly grateful to Barsan for offering such valuable opportunities to its employees. The company’s focus on education and skill development has gived a significant role in my career, providing me the chance to learn and improve in various aspects of the business.

I have been a part of the Barsan Global Logistics family for nearly three years. For 1.5 years, I worked remotely with the Los Angeles Operations team from our İzmir office. Later, I applied for a transfer to one of our Germany offices, specifically the headquarters in Nuremberg. Now, I live in Nuremberg and am part of the Germany Sales Team. At BGL, we have the opportunity to engage in cross-disciplinary projects beyond our core roles, fostering a deeper understanding of each other’s contributions within the company. One of the most remarkable aspects is the availability of diverse career opportunities, open to anyone ready to embrace them.

I started my career at Barsan in February 2022 at the İzmir, Bayraklı office. Thanks to the professional business analysis training provided by Barsan Academy, I had the opportunity to enhance my skills in this field. As a new graduate, I quickly developed my expertise by participating in numerous projects under the guidance of our experienced managers. Towards the end of my second year at the company, I received a job offer to work in our New York office. This opportunity also reinforced my belief that Barsan is a large, global organization with a visionary perspective that provides extensive opportunities for young professionals.

Working in a young and innovative environment, while learning from experienced and seasoned colleagues, has greatly contributed to my career journey. The modern and futuristic business approach aligning with my vision keeps me motivated and makes me feel like I am just at the beginning of this journey.
